Instructions For Full Page With Full Bleed

Trim Size is the actual size of the magazine. See Example at Top Right.
Bleed Area - Any image or colored area touching the edge of the Trim size MUST be extended 1/4” beyond the trim size. Live area is where all your contents should stay within, such as Heading, Sub-Heading, Copy, Inset Photos, Contact Info, etc. In most cases, Camera Ready artwork should be sized at 8.75x11.25.
Any Camera Ready Document without proper Bleed will be shrunk to fit in the Live area, which will cause white area all around the Ad.

Ad Design
Design and Production Services are billed at $95.00 per hour. $25 minimum for changes to the ad.

Design and Production Services for any other publication besides HC is $105.00 per hour. $25 per photo scan.

Typesetting, layout/design, color separations, scanning, reduction, or enlarging of ad material, composing film, and changes to original material supplied will all incur production charges.

Digital Data

All camera ready artwork must be in Press Ready PDF, or 300 dpi JPG or TIF.

Please be sure to submit all photos at 300dpi.

Horse Connection is responsible only for accurate output of the electronic file submitted when they meet our specified requirements and cannot be held responsible for digitally submitted ads that do not meet the technical specification. HC is not responsible for color correcting bad scans, copy fitting, typos, etc.

E-mail classified ads with photo to classifieds@horseconnection.com. Please make sure to submit photos as jpegs, or tiffs.

Mail your classified ad with photo and description/text to Horse Connection at 333 Perry St., Suite 309, Castle Rock, CO 80109.

Note: Ads must be paid in advance by check with submission or by credit card. Photographs can not be returned unless accompanied by a self addressed, stamped envelope. Ads run for one insertion unless requested and must be paid for in advance.

Only one horse per ad.
